They had Easter egg hunts, guess the eggs, musical chairs, egg race, and etc. It was a nice day to be outside and do all those activities. They also had a lot of food it was a potluck when every one brings food. My family had brought wings, ribs, and potato salad. All the food was good I had a hot dog, ribs, wings, ham, greens, potato salad, corn pudding, meatballs, and yams. The food was delicious I was stuff. I had played musical chairs and the eggs race. I lost both of the games, but I still had fun. I did enjoy myself and I had a good Easter.

Grammar Schmammar
Today my partner and I had to present our grammar scammer to the class. It was about word confusions. Word confusions is when words are similar in sound, spelling, or meaning. I found this topic to be challenging, because not just me but every one had struggle with word confusion. The most common word confusions are its/it's, there/their/they're, choose/chose, and affect/effect. These words sound the same but mean different things. Like "its" is a possessive pronoun, like his or her and "it's" is a contraction with "it is", the apostrophe in it's is a mark of omission not possession. "Their" is a possessive from of they, "there" is expletive used to start a sentence and also an adverb meaning, and "they're" is a contraction of they are. Choose is an irregular verb and chose is the past form. Affect is usually a verb meaning to influence and effect is usually a noun meaning results. They're a lot more words our there that are confusing, but I'm not going to type them all.

Art Museum
Last Friday me and a few friends went to a museum in Richmond. My friend had to go to the Virginia museum of fine arts for her art class. I had went last semester for my art appreciation class so I knew where it was, so we decided to make it into a group thing. I like art and the meaning behind it. The structure of the museum was nice. My favorite part would probably be the café it was a nice and had a lot of space. Plus they had a deck outside where you could sit and view the pond that was underneath with fishes in it. Which I thought was a very nice scenery. I saw a lot of art work I liked and saw a few favorites but I don't remember any of the names. First one I liked was a painting and it had red, yellow, blue, and black big strips with white small handprints. I liked it because it was different and unexpected. Second I liked was a structure that looked like colorful dripping paint. I liked it because I thought it was really neat and big. Those two art pieces really stuck out to me. My first experience I had with the museum which was with my art class. It wasn't really fun cause we couldn't explore on are own, and we had to listen to the teacher talk which was very boring. But the second time I went with my friends was much funnier because we can explore where ever we wanted too, and we weren't supervised. Even though I enjoyed the museum I wouldn't go again but if I have to I would.

What Have I Learned In English So Far?
What have I learned in English so far? would have to be my presentation me and my partner was assigned. Our presentation was about run on sentences and comma splices. Those two things was something I had, and still have trouble with. I learn about what they mean, and what you can do to correct them. When presenting it to the class we had to read the definition and show examples which I think help explain the concept of them well. Run on sentences is (sometimes called a "fused sentence") has at least two parts, either one of which can stand by itself (in other words, two independent clauses), but the two parts have been smooshed together instead of being properly connected. A Comma splice is when two independent clauses are connected by only a comma, they constitute a run-on sentence. By teaching the topics to the class I taught myself how to correct them. know when I'm writing a paper I know what to look for when it comes to run-ons and comma splices.

Last Night Game
Last night game was the most boring game yet of the season. RBC basketball players went against Vance-Granville. As I was cheering on the side lines I couldn't help but yawn. Vance-Granville only had 6 players that attended the game. Even though they had less players they did manage to keep up with the RBC players. I was never really into basketball I always thought it was boring to watch. But being a cheerleader having to attend all the games I was made to watch and cheer. The cheer team normally shout out some cheers and do 30 min stunts. But last night we didn't do any stunts or barley cheer we just mostly stood there. I would say the most exciting part of the night is when the team was practicing a new stunt, and during the stunt one of the girls had fell on her face. She is the best cheerleader on the team, and she is also the main stunt girl. Which is the reason why we didn't do any stunts. Other then that it was pointless to go. The game felt like it was taking forever to reach half time and forever to end. The stands where pretty much empty. The only thing I can find interesting, and a way to keep myself occupied while watching the game is me and the other girls would pick whose the cutest on the opposing team. There was only one cute guy on the other team which was no fun. I also like to stare at the coaches and watch them get upset. But enough said even though the game was boring and tiring the RBC players pulled out another win.

Getting to Know Me
My name is Tiana, I'm from Wood bridge Va. I'm attending Richard Bland College as a Freshman in the second semester. I plan on transferring to William & Mary University or Old Dominion University when I graduate from RBC. My career choice is a physical therapist either for pediatric or professional sports. I used to play softball (outfielder) for a league when I was in high school for three years but, when I got to college I did cheer leading (flyer) with out any experience its shocking that I made the cut because I'm not a people person and I don't have much spirit. But don't get me wrong I like to meet new people and I'm slightly out going when you get to know me. I would say cheer is a good experience because it tends to get me out of my comfort zone a little. If I had three words to describe myself it would be silly, sweet, and unique. I have four sister two older, one my age, and one younger and I have two older brothers. I enjoy watching movies, shopping, working out and hanging out with my friends in my free time. My favorite food would have to be Applesauce and Shrimp Alfredo. I love the color yellow because it resembles my personality bright and happy. I listen to a lot of country, rock, indie, alternative, folk, and pop music. My favorite singers would have to be Emeli Sande and Ray La Montage, I am a little obsessed with One Direction because they're simple amazing. My favorite actor and actress would have to be Shia Labeouf he is gorgeous and actress would be Julia Roberts. I would say I'm a old soul because I like old music, movies, and sceneries. If I was watching a sport it would have to be baseball, hockey, or lacrosse. Craziest thing I've ever done would have to be crowd surfing at a rock concert. One thing I would love to do would be to ride in a hot air balloon, wind surf, and sky dive. My favorite season is summer. I would like to visit the UK or Australia and travel the world with my sister.
